Russia ready to support Ukrainian industry if Kiev wants it

GOA, India, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- Russia is ready to adjust its requirements to match the Ukrainian industry, including the defense sector, if Kiev wants it, President Vladimir Putin told reporters on October 16.

Ukraine is getting deindustrialized, its industries are deteriorating.

“We are ready to adjust our requirements for the capabilities of the Ukrainian industry any time as soon as our Ukrainian partners wish that, including in the direction of joint cooperation in re-equipment of the Ukrainian defense and civil sectors,” Putin said.

“But I will say once again – it will only happen only if necessary conditions are provided.”
